(Twine) Uploading to Newgrounds

Newgrounds.com is a rival to itch.io, and should allow us to upload and distribute our games should the latter be down.

Creating a Newgrounds.com Account

• Visit Newgrounds.com, a game distribution site (rival to itch.io).
• Locate the “Sign Up” button in the top-right corner.
• Proceed to create your Newgrounds account.

Uploading your game

• Once logged in, visit your file dump.
• Locate your game’s .zip file and drag it onto the drop area in the center of the page.

Obtaining a link

• Click on your newly uploaded .zip file.
• Locate the download link, right-click it, and select “copy address / copy link”.
• Share this link with friends, submit to Gradecraft, etc– it will allow one to download your game.
